About Me

Originally from the west coast of Scotland, I have been living and working in Paimpol, north Brittany, France for 25 years.

The natural environment is essential to my creative process, as my sculpture work reflects my love of nature and my observations of birds and other wildlife.

My journey with glass began in 1990, when I was living on the tiny island of Sark, in the Channel Islands.
I have worked in studios in the UK, France and the United States, before setting up my present glassblowing studio Verglass° in collaboration with Eric Lemarie in Paimpol in 2007.

In recent years, I have been developing hot glass sculpting techniques, combining figurative sculpture with bespoke blown vessels. This combination of techniques has become my signature.
